In the radiant land of Palastasia, in the capital of the city lives King Arthur Jacob Macabre VI sits in power. The old King lived many centuries due to his immortal blood, gained by the tie of a unforgettable friendship. King Arthur ruled many years to the people of Palastasia, along with his varies brides.
But alas the king's long rule has come to a end, and it's time for a new heir to take his place. Underneath the king are forty spawns. The congress urged him to pick one heir, and one heir only to be dubbed as the new King or Queen of Palastasia. With a soft heart, he looked over each of his children, but when it came time to choose... he choose neither.
The congress accepted this statement from the King, but however they reminded him there was a country to be ran, so the King decided to break the great country of Palastasia into 40 different kingdoms. That way each child would be apart of Palastasia's great glory. The congress felt that the idea was a bit obscure, but they allowed it, however there was a trick.
The congress signed the bill over that Palastia's shall have forty kingdoms, but with terms and conditions. Each thrown had to be established within three years, ... along with this the young princesses and princes can't take the thrown unless properly married. With no choice King Arthur accepted, in order to establish the forty kingdoms that would shape the massive country of Palastasia. All that's left to do now, is marry off his forty offsprings.
Nobles, Dukes, Princes, princesses, dutchess and even peasants crowd into Palastasia for a chance at what could be love or riches. Even though the king urges his kids to marry for love, not just the thrown at the end of the tunnel he has to work quickly and swiftly to see the forty kingdoms established before time is out.
The many princesses and Princes sit in their fathers castle, awaiting their chance at romance to take their reserved spots as kings and queens of Palastasia. Along with this the peasants are in a uproar to get their children in the sights of one of the many royal offsprings, and assassins are at foot secretly working for the congress to make sure the King fails at dividing the throne.
